Lynx Theatre and Poetry plays

Sylvia is a one-woman show about Sylvia Pankhurst with over 250 slides. It toured between 1987 and 1992, and again in 1997. It was revived in 2015 and toured until 2019. It is written and performed by Jacqueline Mulhallen.

Rebels and Friends is a two-woman show about Constance Markievicz and Eva Gore-Booth with over 600 slides. It was written by Jacqueline Mulhallen.

 

It toured between 1989 and 1992, and then was revived for a tour in 2019.

I Want to be Wonderful is a three performer show about Elizabeth Gurley Flynn and 1970s theatre. It was written by Jacqueline Mulhallen.

The Battle of the Bridge was a community play created in workshops organised with Wissey Valley Arts. It was written by Jacqueline Mulhallen.

 

It was performed at the 2007 Stoke Ferry Festival.

May Days was a stage performance of a long poem influenced by Shelley's The Masque of Anarchy. Begun just two days before the Grenfell Tower fire, that tragedy became the focus of the poem. It was written by William Alderson.

 

It was directed and performed by volunteers at The Playground Theatre in 2018 to mark the anniversary of the fire, which occurred nearby the theatre.

 

The Image of Life is a new play about the life, ideas and poetry of the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. It is written by Jacqueline Mulhallen.

 

It is planned to perform this in 2022 to mark the 200th anniversary of Shelley's death.
